A. Ficus Supports Media Democracy
1. Encourage and permit more public participation in producing programming for HPTV
2. Work to improve programming and viewership for HPTV, by reflecting the concerns of boro residents
3. Work to get real programming shown on local public access TV
4. Promote youth involvement in making media, including print, video, Internet, and broadcast (for instance, promoting youth involvement in the Beyond Green documentary film project from ListenUp!)
5. Promote media literacy education
